ssalamualaikum and peace be upon you. Pixel art is still one of my all time
favorite styles, probably because I grew up playing 80s's games. Early generation consoles had an additional influence on me as this type of illustration was pretty common. The amazing thing about pixel art is that it reduces the form to the minimum amount of detail that makes it recognizable. The illustrations of Ercan Akkaya are good examples. I particularly love how you can identify the different superheroes despite the simplistic form.
